Day 1: Meeting – Camel ride – Arrival at the Camp:

Going on a camel trek in Merzouga, spending the night in the desert and watching the sunset in the dunes is an absolutely unforgettable experience.

This night camel excursion in Merzouga starts in the late afternoon (16-17 hours depending on the season) from the Kasbah hotel and ends in the desert camp of Merzouga, in the middle of the dunes, where you can experience the magic of the desert. It takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to get to the desert camp, including a stop to relax and climb up the dunes for spectacular sunset views, photography and Sandboarding.

When you arrive, you will be greeted with a traditional mint tea desert welcome at the Berber Bedouin tent where you will spend the night.

In the evening, you will dine on a delicious Moroccan feast. Next, relax around a bonfire and drum circle in an atmosphere of fun and entertainment before retiring to a private tent of your choice under the glittering stars. You will leave your main luggage in the car or in our guest house and only take a backpack for the overnight trip.

Day 2: Sunrise – Breakfast – Camel ride:

An unusual morning in the Sahara desert and the Erg Chebbi; the highest and most impressive dunes in Morocco. First thing in the morning, it is worth waking up to enjoy a stunning sunrise over the dunes.

A hearty breakfast and hot shower will then be provided at the camp before returning to the Kasbah hotel in the village via camels or 4×4 vehicle.

Your Merzouga night camel tour concludes here at our guest house with a wealth of memories, feelings and perhaps a new outlook on life.)
