Program Itinerary

Day 1: Airport – Tangier:

Arrival and pick-up by our guides at the port or airport of Tangier and transfer to the Hotel. Possibility of visiting the old Medina. Dinner and accommodation in Tangier according to selected hotel category.

Day 2: Tangier – Fes via Meknes:

After breakfast, departure towards Fez, stopping in Larache for lunch. We continue towards the city of Moulay Ismail (Meknes), famous for its monumental Bab Mansour gate and its city walls. Arrival in Fez, dinner and accommodation according to selected hotel category.

Day 3: Fes – Fes:

Free day in Fes. Upon entering the streets of its medina (ancient city) we will feel that time goes backwards: the guild structure is still present at work, the narrowness of its streets does not allow any other means of transportation than donkeys and a constant swarming of people moves through the labyrinthine streets in the middle of which we will be surprised by neighborhoods like the Andalusian one and magnificent mosques and Koranic schools. Fes has always been associated with study and religiosity, and continues to be the spiritual capital of Morocco. After visiting the medina, another option is to walk aimlessly through the streets of Fes-Jdid, where the royal palace, the mellah (Jewish quarter) and the oldest mosque in Fes are located. Dinner and accommodation according to selected hotel category.

Day 4: Fes -Ifrane Azrou – Midelt – Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga:

After breakfast, departure to Midelt passing through the mountains and cedar forests of the Middle Atlas. I pass through Ifrane, a charming ski resort and Azrou, an important craft center specializing in cedar wood work. After the Zad Pass (2178m/7146ft), we will arrive in Midelt for lunch. In the afternoon, we will descend towards Erfoud and Errachidia through the Ziz Valley, dotted with palm trees. Continuation towards the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Dinner and night in a hotel in Merzouga according to the selected hotel category.

Day 5: Merzouga – Khamlia – Rissani – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Desert:

This will be a stage where after breakfast, we will tour another of the tracks used in the “Paris-Dakar Rally”, visiting desert nomads with whom we will have tea and see the oasis where some films such as “Sahara” were filmed, starring by Penelope Cruz. We will visit the town of “the blacks”, named after the slave trade that was brought from the Sudan. And after eating we will change the 4×4 traction for that of animal traction. The dromedaries will take us into the dune desert to contemplate an unforgettable sunset. This night will be special, we will sleep in the dunes in nomadic tents (Jaimas), like the Berbers do. Here we will enjoy a Berber dinner, music and a starry sky like you have never seen before. Dinner and accommodation in the unforgettable Jaima.

Day 6: Erg Chebbi Desert – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges:

We will get up a little early to climb the dunes before sunrise, a spectacle like no other. An interesting excursion that we can do on foot or by camel. After breakfast we leave again in the 4×4 to explore the hammada (stone desert), where dunes and palm trees appear from time to time, small oases where life takes shape. In just over 2 hours you reach Tinerhir, the most lush oasis in the south, from where you can access the Todra Gorges. Time for walks through the oasis, contemplating its crops and irrigation systems, and to tour part of the Gorges on an unparalleled path. Dinner and overnight in a hotel according to the selected hotel category.

Day 7: Dades Gorges – Dades Valley – Valley of the Roses – Kelaa M’ Gouna – Skoura – Ouarzazate:

We will continue along the route of the Kasbahs, being able to detour into the interior of the Dades Valley; We will find some of the most beautiful kasbahs in Skoura. After leaving Ouarzazate behind, we will head towards Aït Benhaddou, one of the largest kasbahs in the entire south, which maintains some parts well preserved thanks to the fact that it has become the setting for many films. We will sleep in a hotel right in front of the kasbah, so that we can visit it calmly and outside of peak visitor hours. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel near the Ait Benhaddou kasbah.

Day 8: Ouarzazate – Aït Benhaddou – Marrakech:

The journey is a succession of strengths. Today is another one of them. The 200 km that separate Ouarzazate from Marrakech run through the High Atlas. The road should be traveled slowly, due to its beauty and because it is a mountain pass that crosses the Atlas at almost 2,300m. To round off the spectacular nature of the day, we will make the journey following the old caravan route that linked the two cities through the Ounila Valley, where there are kasbahs built in caves and which will also take us to Telouet. Finally, arrival in Marrakech. Accommodation in a hotel according to the selected hotel category.

Day 9: Marrakech – Visit Of The Medina:

Free day in Marrakech, a city famous for its Jemaa el Fna square, which will occupy much of our time: an unrepeatable amalgam of aromas, sounds and sensations. The city also has endless places to wander and enjoy: the Majorelle Gardens, the Menara, the Saadian Tombs, walks through the medina or through the mellah (the old Jewish quarter), the tour of the walls, the modern city (Gueliz) with its western ways of life. Dinner and accommodation according to selected hotel category.

Day 10: Marrakech – Casablanca:

Breakfast and departure to Casablanca, economic capital of Morocco and mythical city on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, with fascinating architecture. We will visit its famous La Corniche beach area and the Hassan II mosque, the second largest mosque in the world after Mecca. Dinner and accommodation according to selected hotel category.

Day 11: Casablanca – Rabat – Asilah:

Breakfast and departure towards Rabat, visit the capital of Morocco, the Royal Palace, the mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Hassan Tower, Kasbah Oudaya, etc. In the afternoon we will continue to the city of Asilah to visit its beautiful white Medina. Dinner and accommodation according to selected hotel category.
