Join this 8 day Tour Casablanca to the desert, a perfect adventure that takes you from the bustling streets of Casablanca to the serene sands of the Sahara Desert. Explore Morocco’s imperial cities, ancient ruins, and stunning landscapes, with highlights like Fes, Marrakech, and the Merzouga Desert. This 8-day Morocco desert tour promises an unforgettable experience, filled with culture, history, and adventure.
Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca and Start 8 day Tour Casablanca to the desert– Rabat – Meknes
On day one of your 8 day Tour Casablanca to the desert, we’ll pick you up at your hotel in Casablanca. The first stop is the grand Hassan II Mosque, an iconic symbol of Morocco, and the only mosque in the country open to non-Muslims. The mosque is an excellent introduction to the impressive architecture and Arab influences that define Morocco.
Afterward, we’ll head to Rabat, Morocco’s capital city. Explore the Chellah Necropolis, an intriguing blend of Roman and Merinid ruins, and admire the historic Hassan Tower and Mohammed V Mausoleum. Finally, we continue to Meknes, an 18th-century city known for its majestic gates and historic buildings, including those built by Sultan Moulay Ismael. End the day with an overnight stay in Meknes.
Day 2: Meknes – Volubilis – Fes
On day two of your 8 day Tour Casablanca to the desert, we’ll start with a visit to Meknes, including the Sahrij Swani Barn, used to store food and water for the Sultan’s army. We’ll also stop at the grand Bab Mansour, a magnificent gate known for its intricate design.
Next, we’ll travel to Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site where you can explore well-preserved Roman ruins, including mosaics, columns, and ancient inscriptions. This historical site offers a fascinating look into Morocco’s ancient past.
In the afternoon, we’ll continue to Fes, the spiritual and intellectual heart of Morocco, where we’ll spend the night.
Day 3: Fes City Tour
Day three of your 8 day Tour Casablanca to the desert will take you through the historical streets of Fes, a city with a fascinating labyrinth of over 9,000 alleys. We’ll visit the famous tanneries where artisans continue to work in traditional ways, creating leather goods from goat, camel, and cow skins.
Explore the medina, with its bustling souks full of crafts and goods. We’ll also visit the south tower for panoramic views of the city. After a delicious lunch, enjoy a visit to a ceramics cooperative where Moroccan tiles and mosaics are crafted by skilled artisans. In the evening, you can enjoy a traditional dinner show with belly dancers in Fes.
Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga Desert
As part of your 8 day Tour Casablanca to the desert, we leave Fes and head towards the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is Ifrane, often called “Little Switzerland” for its picturesque alpine scenery and ski resorts. Day 5: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate
After breakfast in Merzouga, we’ll begin our journey to Todra Gorges, a stunning 15 km valley with towering cliffs, palm groves, and an oasis-like atmosphere. This area is famous for its natural beauty and is a great spot for climbing and hiking.
Next, we’ll continue to Dades Gorges, where you’ll see spectacular rock formations that have been shaped by millions of years of erosion. We’ll also visit Rose Valley, a famous area where Damascus roses are harvested, and rose water and skin care products are made.
In the evening, we’ll arrive in Ouarzazate, Morocco’s film industry capital, where you’ll spend the night.
Day 6: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – Marrakech
Day six of your 8 day Tour Casablanca to the desert will take us to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has been the setting for many Hollywood films. This ancient village is known for its unique clay buildings and dramatic landscape.

Day 7: Marrakech City Tour
