4 Days Tour From Marrakech to Merzouga

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Dades Gorge:

Departure from Marrakech, Tizi-n-Tichka’s Port (2,260 mt) and road to Ait Benhaddou; Berber villages on the route. Arrival at Ait Benhaddou and visit of the Kasbah. Lunch. Skoura palm grove passing through Ouarzazate. Visit of the magnificent Kasbah of Amridil. We will leave for the Valley of Roses and its Berber villages. The Dades Gorge by Boumalne. Excursions to the gorge and meeting with local people and their flocks. Night at the hotel in the Dades gorges.

Day 2: Dades Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga:

After breakfast we will leave for the Todra Gorge, a one-hour walk through the Tinghir Valley. We will leave for Merzouga through Tinjdad, Erfoud and its famous fossils. Rissani, the ancient capital of the Tafilalet and Merzouga desert. When we arrive at the foot of the dunes we will begin the camel ride to reach the bivouac in the center of Erg Chebbi. Then we can enjoy the sunset and mint tea. Dinner and music at the campsite under the sky full of stars.

Day 3: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate:

Early morning departure in 4×4 through Rissani (cradle of the Alaouite dynasty) and the immense mountain of Bougafer. Lunch in N’Kob (first town on the way). Afternoon excursion on the road of a thousand kasbahs (we will enjoy the best of the Draa valley river). Arrival in Ouarzazate at sunset. Dinner and night at the hotel.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Taourirt – Marrakech:

Breakfast and departure to Ouarzazate: visit to the Kasbah of Taourirt and the film studios. Departure to the town of Merzgane and the town of Ighrem. Stop for lunch. Todarte and return to Marrakech through the Port of Tizi-n-Tichka. Arrival in Marrakech at sunset.
